ANSAM greets on Christmas & New Year

Senapati, December 24 2023: All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM) on Sunday wished the people of Manipur a 'Merry Christmas' and a 'Happy New Year'.

In a release, ANSAM while stating that the challenges one faced throughout the year 2023 will remain etched in the consciousness as one of the most challenging in recent history, wished everyone a Merry Christmas 2023 and a prosperous New Year 2024 .

"Christmas season is a time when people celebrate the birth of Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and God's redemptive grace to mankind.

It is a season when one pauses and reflects on the goodness of God and a time to also restrategize for what lies ahead.

ANSAM prays and wishes for prevailing of peace in the state of Manipur with the coming Christmas," it said.

ANSAM also thanked its constituent units, sub-ordinate units, well-wishers and everyone for their unwavering support in upholding the association's mission of serving the people and upholding their rights without fear or reproach.

The student body also prayed for God's wisdom to bring peace and tranquillity to the leaders of the state and CSOs in Manipur, and for protection and renewed commitment and dedication to duty.

Meanwhile, ANSAM informed that its office will remain closed from December 25, 2023 to January 7, 2024 on account of the festival vacation.
