Long march reaches Wangoo

Moirang, December 24 2023:
The long march of Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) which carries the message of National regeneration reached Wangoo today.
The fifth day of the march began from Moirang and ended at Wangoo after a public meeting at Kumbi and Sagang.
People gave a hearty welcome to the volunteers of MAYOL and people who took out the march by offering garlands and chanting slogans of unity along the course of the march.
Members of Moirang Kendra Apunba Meira Paibi Ima Lup (MAMPIL) and Moirang Kumam Leikai Meira Paibi also participated in the long march upto Kumbi.
After reaching Kumbi, a public meeting was held at Kumbi Keithel.
At the meeting, MAYOL convenor Asem Prince said that the Meeteis surely will disappear if they don't wake up now and do whatever they can to strengthen the ethnic group.
He said that the main objective of the march is to build a sense of unity and oneness among the Meetei people and solve the chronic issues of the ethnic group together.
From Kumbi, the procession headed towards Kakching and ended the march for the day at Wangoo Laipham.
It is said that the marchers will spend the night at Wangoo Laipham.
