Aid distributed, medical camp conducted

Kakching/Thoubal, June 17 2023:
Chandel Naga People's Organisation (CNPO), an apex body of nine Naga tribes of Chandel district, on Saturday handed over vegetables to the relief camp opened at Kakching Higher Secondary School by Committee for Peace and Social Harmony, Kakching.
CNPO president David Boyes also appealed to both Meetei and Kuki communities to work tor easmg the tension and restoring peace and communal harmony.
The relief visit was also attended by CNPO, Chandel executive members.
Meanwhile, Karkinos Manipur Cancer Institute and Research Centre, JNIMS Campus, Porompat in collaboration with Vishwanath.
Cancer Care Foundation organised a free medical and cancer risk assessment camp for riot-displaced peoole stavine in Grace Cottage Academy and Victory High School, Kakching relief camps.
On the other hand, six PPS agents of Athokpam village under Khangabok assem -bly constituency distributed edible items at 10 relief camps including Athokpam Heikreng Makhong, Athokpam Junior High School, Khangabok Higher Secondary School, Lamding Higher Sec -ondary School and at Sugnu on Saturday.
