Imphal, June 17 2023:
Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS) has urged private schools to reduce admission and tuition fees in view of the conflict situation and cautioned of appropriate measures if the schools are found defying the proposal.
In a release, AIMS general Khumujam Ro-shan pointed out that in-spite of result of Class X examination conducted by BOSEM declared on Thursday there are students who are yet to ascertain the marks scored due to internet ban.
Amidst such issue, it is surprising that some private schools have fixed the date of entrance test, he noted, while enquiring if private schools can guarantee safety of students appearing in entrance test amid imposition of the curfew.
He appealed to private schools to extend the date of entrance test and fix the schedule with due consideration of students' convenience.
