CRPF reaches out to violence-hit people

Imphal, October 27 2023:
Feeling the hardships and sufferings of the ethnic violence affected people, Bajrang Lal, who is Nodal Officer and commandant of Mantripukhri headquartered 69 Bn CRPF along with his team of officers/jawans and in coordination with the civil authorities/police distributed blankets and rice at DIET- Leikop and RE-Songlung relief camps under Saitu Sub-Division, Kangpokpi district.
People in the relief camps were overjoyed and relieved to receive the relief materials provided by the CRPF, under the aegis of IGP M&N Sector CRPF, as winter had already arrived.
While stating that the Battalion made the noble gesture to instil more trust in the people and to feel the pulse of the people who are suffering as a result of the state s continuing ethnic turmoil, a release assured that the Battalion will continue to contribute in the future through such activities in order to alleviate and uplift the sufferings of the common people, as well as to restore normalcy and peace in Manipur.
SDO Paotinsei Kipgen and deputy SP Kamkhohao of Kangpokpi district, as well as their staff members, took part in the relief material distribution programme and contributed to the success of the event, added the CRPF release.
