Imphal, June 25 2023:
Apart from taking a decision to launch movement to resign en-masse from the party in view of BJP government's inability to contain the ethnic violence and address the unrest situation, a committee named 'War on BJP Non-violence Campaign' has been formed.
Regarding formation of the committee, its convener Nandalal Angomcha told media persons at Manipur Press Club on Sunday that a non-violence campaign against BJP will be launched from Monday onwards in view of party's inability to bring peace in the state.
According to Nandalal, the BJP government in the state and at the Centre are unable to contain the violence that erupted on May 3 and more than 50,000 have been directly affected by the continuing violence as efforts of both the state and Central leaders remain futile-.
He said that the committee decided to launch a movement to resign en masse from BJP as the party's government both in the state and the Centre not only failed to control the violence when it erupted on May 3 but are also unable to contain it still.
He also said that BJP members should resign en masse and open relief camps at the houses of chief minister, ministers and MLAs.
