Body calls for aiding violence-hit students

Manipur Liklam Ngakpa media coordinator and spokesperson Bikramjit Rajkumar has urged authorities concerned to look into the education or schooling of students affected by the violence, under the 'One Nation One Education For All' initiative.
Addressing the media at Manipur Press Club, here, on Friday, Bikramjit expressed that as the violence has cast a shadow on the future of the young students, daily wage earners and families of all those who have lost their lives, authority concerned should accord top priority in addressing such pressing issues at the earliest.
Further urging for effective implementation of 'One Nation One Education for All' initiative in the academic session 2024-25, he conveyed that the education minister has also assured of taking up requisite action for ensuring the schooling of the surviving children of all those who have sacrificed their lives in the prevailing conflict.
He then appealed to schools, colleges and universities to provide free education to children of those killed or affected by the violence, while further urging teachers and student bodies to help save the lives of these young children.
Bikramjit then appreciated the board of directors and principal of Mega Manipur School for providing free schooling till Class 11 to the daughter of late L Inao of Takhel.
