Army dedicates hall, AR renovates school

The Indian Army on Friday dedicated a community hall constructed at Nepali Basti village in Senapati district under its Operation Sadbhavana project.
According to PRO (Defence), the community hall was constructed as proposed by the villagers during interactions with Army.
The newly inaugurated community hall will cater to the diverse needs and interests of the villagers such as cultural events, educational programs, social gatherings and civic meetings, the PRO said, adding that the hall will provide a welcoming and accessible space to all the villagers to come together and exchange ideas.

as part Operation sadbhavna, Assam Rifles on Thursday renovated the Government Primary School at Awangkasom village in Ukhrul district.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the initiative was taken up in view of the challenges the local children faced due to lack of adequate educational infrastructure.
The renovation efforts have significantly upgraded the school facilities, creating a more conducive learning environment for the students, the PRO conveyed, adding that the initiative evoked appreciation from the village authorities and school administrative staffers of Awangkasom.
