LIC distributes awards, Pareihanba conferred Governor's Award

Kakching, December 24 2023: Library and Information Centre (LIC) Kakching has distributed its annual awards including the Governor's Award in different fields, at the 25th Award Presentation ceremony held at its auditorium at Kakching Phousupat Leikai on Sunday.

DM University vice-chancellor professor N Rajmuhon and LIC president Pukhrambam Shampha, and founder president Dr Naorem Giridhari attended the event as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Floral tributes were paid to the photos of martyrs, who were killed in the ongoing clash and a two-minute silence observed in their honour.

A souvenir of the award presentation ceremony was also released on the occasion.

, The Governor's Award (Kakching Library Award) for HSLCE topper was presented to Yengkhom Pareihanba (RM School) of Kwakeithel Heinoukhongnembi.

The award carries Rs 12,000 cash and a citation.

Phanjoubam Gourahari Singh Awards for HSLCE, Kakching Centre toppers were presented to 23rd position holder Naorem Rosilia of Kakching Sumak Leikai and Mayanglambam Jaya of Kakching Sumak Leikai both of Victory High School, Kakching.
