The Union Budget 2024, which was recently passed in the parliament, focuses mainly on women, farmers and the poor.
As such, it will be help usher in development in all aspects, BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesperson M Asnikumar has remarked.
Addressing a press meet in this regard at BJP's Thambal Shanglen in Nityaipat Chuthek, here, on Saturday, Asnikumar, who is also the chairman of Loktak Development Auhtority (LDA), said that owing to transparency in the financial section, economic growth is increasing day-by-day.
This will help usher in development in all aspects.
In addition, the budget has given special attention to the eastern region with focus on tourism, research innovation and sustainable economic growth.
He continued that a target has been set to lower the fiscal deficit to around 4.5 per cent by 2026.Apart from this, efforts are being made to control and maintain the fiscal rates of infrastructure, agriculture and tourism.
The best part is the increase in foreign investments, he maintained, while adding that the government has been ensuring the development of all works with high potential.
Stating that the budget reflects the vision of a New India, Asnikumar expressed belief that the PM's vision of transforming India into a superpower will become a reality by 2047.He further expressed belief that BJP will win not less than 370 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and over 400 seats with alliance parties, allowing the party and the PM to serve the people of the country for the third time.

Asnikumar then said that PM Modi has managed to bring about equal development to the society.
Under Sabka Saath, Sabka Bikas', steps have been taken up to reform the economy with technology, while at the same providing benefit to over lakhs of people through start-up schemes.
This, in turn, has raise the economy of the country, he asserted.
Responding to questions from newspersons, Asnikumar said that the union government has always extended support to projects proposed by the state government, provided the projects are reasonable and feasible.
Even in the prevailing crisis, the union government has been extending all relevant funds and logistics support, he conveyed.
