Humanitarian aid extended, health camp held

Imphal, November 05 2023:
Taragi Cheisu in collaboration with Meitei Lallup Kangleipak (Village Protection Force) today organised a free health camp at Phayeng in Imphal West district.
During the camp, a medical team from JNIMS, Porompat, provided free medical care related to Medicine, Surgery, Gynae, Ortho, Neuro, Pediatrics, ENT, EYE & Psychiatry.
The team consisting of doctors, nurses & paramedics also provided free medicines, blood tests, ECG and Sugar tests.
Taragi Cheisu also distributed winter blankets to the villagers.
At the event Taragi Cheisu convenor Dr Dhakeshwar shared that the humanitarian activities were conducted with the contributions from the members of Taragi Cheisu to help the people who are suffering due to the prolonged conflict.
In continuation of the humanitarian aid extended to the people displaced by the present conflict, Writers of Manipur in collaboration with Kongba Tubileima Development Lai Committee today provided relief materials at Koutruk, Singda and Kadangband.
Earlier, Writers of Manipur had also distributed relief materials at Shyamasakhi High School, Wangkhei High School, Khangabok, Wakha, New Keithelmanbi, Meitei Langol, Langmeidong, Wangoo Tera, Tangjeng, Oinam, Bishnupur and Phubala.
