Imphal, November 05 2023: Organisations such as Helping Hands for Peoples-Manipur, Association of Voluntary Blood Donors-Manipur, Personality and Talent Development Organisation-Manipur, Kangleipak News Tengpang Lup, Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM), Green Brigade-Bishnupur, TYA-Tronglaobi, PRO-Tronglaobi, Voluntary Blood Donors Group, Saiyon Helping Hands, E-Pao Tengbang Lup, Humanity for Society, Kangleipak Students' Association and another students body, which conduct blood donation camps periodically, held a joint meeting at DESAM head office, here, on Sunday and formed a committee named 'Committee of Voluntary Blood Donor Organisation, Manipur.

A release issued by the committee informed that Premjit Moirangthem has been appointed as convenor with one representative of each organisation inducted as executive members.

The meeting also discussed the need to increase the number of blood donors, it added.
