In a commendable effort to bolster resources, the Maha Regiment under the aegis of the Red Shield Division, embarked on a transformative journey to enhance the Peniel Care Centre for Drugs and Alcohol De-addiction and Rehabilitation at Keithelmanbi Military Colony, Champhai Sub Division in Kangpokpi district.
The ambitious undertaking saw the rehabilitation centre undergo a remarkable metamorphosis, primarily characterized by the expansion of its facilities through the addition of a new room extension.
The augmentation, realized at a cost of approximately Rs 15 lakhs under the aegis of Operation Sadbhavana 2023-24, stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Regiment towards fostering holistic wellness and combatting the scourge of substance abuse within the community.
