Later, UMPCO advisor Moulana lliyash held a worship ceremony to offer prayers to the Almighty to restore peace and normalcy in the State accompanied by the relief camp inmates.
UMPCO has also extended its gratitude to all clubs, organisations and persons who contributed in the relief effort and assured that similar initiatives will be taken up in the near future.
Responding to certain instances that have cast the Meitei Pangal community in a questionable light due to the actions of some illogical and short-sighted persons, UMPCO has appealed to all to refrain from repeating such distasteful acts and cautioned that the organisation will keep a close watch on such individuals.
