Hideout of Kuki militants at Moreh raided
Pipe guns, bulletproof vests, explosives seized

In a significant development, a combined team of State and Central security forces seized a consignment of explosive items, combat fatigues, bulletproof vests and pipe guns from the hideouts of Kuki militants at Moreh, today.
The items were seized during a massive search operation carried out by State commandos, Indian Reserve Battalion, Manipur Rifles, Assam Rifles and Border Security Force at multiple locations of the border town.
According to police, the seized items include two mobile phones, one DI Tata, six two wheeler vehicles, two bulletproof vests, one camouflage full sleeve, three locally made pipe guns and chemicals used in making gunpowder among others.

Reportedly, the combined team carried out the search operation at Toulal Village, Laikhot Village, Senjang Village and Toulal Village and verified 50 villagers.
Police also stated that suspected Kuki militants set up their hideouts at three of the four villages and used them as mission organising spots.
Meanwhile, the 10 Myanmar Nationals including 4 juveniles who were airlifted and remanded to Foreigner Detention Center at Manipur Central Jail Sajiwa yesterday have been identified as Zaw Mint (43), s/o (L) Myat Tong of Tamu Sawbua, Htet Kyaw (49), s/o U Than Kyi of Tamu Ward Number 3 Sandaku, Govind Chettri (38), s/o (L) Shyam Chettri of Namphalong Ward Number 12, Win Naing (55), s/o (L) Paw Tun Zaytan of Ward Number 5 Tamu Township, Han Thet (35), s/o U Tum Shwe of Monywa Township and Zaw Moe 49 (s/o), Ba Kyi of Kalayu Kalay Township (Name of the juveniles not mentioned) .
All 10 of them were arrested along with 22 other Myanmar Nationals from Morning Market at Moreh, yesterday.
Altogether 115 Myanmar Nationals including 25 women and six children are now inside the Foreigners' Detention Centre.
Forty three illegal immigrants from Myanmar were detected in a span of 12 days.
