Jivan Hospital Kakching staff appeal for peaceful functioning

Kakching, February 15 2024:
The staff of Jivan Hospital, Kakching staged a sit-in protest today in front of the hospital urging all concerned to refrain from burdening the hospital with outrageous demands.
The staff of the hospital used placards which read, 'Do not overburden the hospital', 'Support hospital staff, 'Long Live Manipur' etc.
Speaking on the sidelines, one of the hospital staff highlighted that Jivan Hospital Kakching ever since its inception has been working sincerely for the welfare of the people and has been extending all possible forms of medical care services in the region.
The staff maintained that the hospital has been trying its best to address the healthcare concerns during COVID-19 pandemic and during this prevailing conflict situation in the State.
Apart from the above, the hospital has been helping the poor and needy people in all possible forms, he added.
Stressing that the hospital has been providing free treatments to the locals of the region particularly Sugnu, Serou and Pallel who got injured during the course of the conflict, he said that the staff have been making dedicated efforts to address the medical needs of the affected people.
Assuring that the hospital will continue to help the people of the region in the best possible way, he appealed to all concerned to support the staff in serving the people and let the hospital function effectively without any threat or hindrance.
