Handover task of containing "international narco-terrorists" to State Govt, appeal Moirang CSOs to GoI

A joint meeting of Moirang CSOs held at Kumam Youth Club, Moirang Kumam Leikai building has made an appeal to the Indian Government to handover the task of containing "international narco-terrorists" to the State Government if the Centre is incapable of taking the necessary actions against these groups.
As per a joint statement issued by Kumam Youth Club, Moirang, the joint meeting was attended by Moirang CSOs, namely Village Volunteers' Force Moirang, Kumam Youth Club and Kumam Leikai Meira Paibi, KEMKAL Moirang, MAMPIL Moirang and Khamba Thoibi Dance Academy Moirang.
The gathering also commended the bravery of Kumam Premananda Singh, Constable 1st IRB attached with Manipur Commando who sustained injuries at Moreh yesterday around 10:30 pm in the line of duty.
The Moirang CSOs expressed pride over the courage of the wounded State Security personnel.
The CSOs also extended their gratitude to the Chief Minister and local MLA who supervised the safe evacuation and treatment of the State forces who were injured in yesterday's exchange of gunfire with Kuki militants, as per the joint release.
