Discussion on 'VISION 2035' held

The Manipur State Archaeology yesterday organised a 3-Days Talk cum Discussion on "VISION 2035: An Archaeological Approach of Manipur" .
The inaugural function was attended by M Joy Singh, Commissioner, Art & Culture and Prof N Joykumar Singh, retired HOD, History Department, Manipur University as presidium members.
On the first day, retired Prof S Ibotombi Singh delivered a lecture on "Geo-formation of Manipur" and Dr Sanjenbam Yaiphaba Meitei spoke on "The Genes & Genetics of North-East Indian" .
It may be mentioned that the talk cum discussion was conducted with the objective to understand the present archaeological findings of Manipur and to chalk out a road-map for future archaeological studies in Manipur.
The talk cum discussion aims to bring together experts and scholars from numerous interdisciplinary subjects of archaeology and to explore the unexplored glorious past of Manipur.
