Ramakrishna Mission reaches out

The Ramakrishna Mission, Babupara, Imphal, has been reaching out to the internally displaced people who are taking shelter at various relief camps across the State since May 10, 2023 .
In December 2023, the Ramakrishna Mission distributed 752 winter blankets, 695 upper thermal wear, 268 thermal lowers, 330 socks, apart from other essential items, at 16 relief camps set up in Wangoo, Ithai Khunou, Kumbi, Moirang Khunou, Laisoi, Kwakta, Nambol SAI Complex, Lamboikhong-nangkhong and Leimaram, said a release.
The Mission also provided food supplements for expectant mothers & infants and stationery items for students.

Overall, as part of its winter relief services, the Mission has so far provided more than 10,000 winter blankets, apart from other essentials, benefitting over 5000 families, sheltered in more than 100 relief camps in Imphal East, Imphal West, Kakching, Thoubal & Bishnupur districts.
The Mission is also making efforts to provide winter clothing, especially for the students & elders staying in the relief camps.
The Ramakrishna Mission further conveyed its deepest sympathies and prayed for the well being of all the families affected by the ongoing crisis.
