MNCA Plate Tournament : CDC thrash NAPSA by 103 runs

CDC Sagolband Salam Leikai beat NAPSA Kha Imphal by 103 runs at the ongoing 6th MNCA Plate Tournament today.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, CDC set a target of 170 for NAPSA.
CDC's Rakesh (33 off 47 balls), Md Ataur (22 off 36 balls) and Prithichand (22 off 44 balls) helped the team in setting the target of 170.NAPSA's Bipin wreaked havoc as he picked 3 wickets in 8 overs and gave away just 25 runs.
Dhanakuber (1 wicket), Boney (1 wickets), Chingkhei (2 wickets) and Ajit (1 wicket) helped the team in restricting CDC to 169 runs in 35.2 overs.
Chasing the target of 170, NAPSA batting line-up could not stand ground as one after another return to the pit without scoring runs in two digit, except for Sengtung who added 19 runs in 39 balls.
CDC's Mutum Jodiba gave a befitting reply to NAPSA's Bipin three wicket haul as he picked 3 wickets in 6.3 overs and gave away just 18 runs.
Other bowlers also continued the onslaught as Robindro and Priyojit picked two wickets each while Khursid Alam and Prithichand picked one wicket each.
Impressive spell of bowling by CDC bowlers restricted NAPSA to just 66 runs giving their team a 103 runs victory.
CDC's Mutum Jodiba was named the 'Man of the Match' for his 3 wickets in 6.3 overs and 10 runs off 11 balls.
