CDC maul NAPSA by 103 runs in MNCA Plate Tournament

Imphal, July 28 2022:
CDC (Sagolband) registered their second straight win in dominant fashion, beating NAPSA (Kha Imphal) by 103 runs in the 6th MNCA Plate Tournament on Thursday at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
The Sagolband side bowled NAPSA out on 66 after putting a decent 169 on the board after opting to bat.
The CDC bowlers took 20.3 overs to wipe out the NAPSA batting order and give their side a comprehensive victory.
Mutum Jodiba led the bowling attack finishing with a haul of three wickets as Rajkumar Robinson and Proyojit Narengbam claimed two scalps and Khursid Alam and Naoroibam Prithichand accounted for one each.
Earlier, CDC were all out for 169 in 35.2 overs.
In the innings, Thounaojam Rakesh (33), Md Ataur Rahaman (22), Naoroibam Prithichand (22), Priyojit Narengbam (21) and Salam Pinky Singh (16) were key run-getters.
The Sagolband squad lost three of their wickets to Bipin Ningthoujam, two to Chingkhei Kshetrimayum and one each to Tpngbram Dhanakuber, Heisnam Boney and Ajit Ahongshangbam.
Mutum Jodiba, who took three wickets and scored 10 runs, walked away with the man of the match trophy.
IBSA will play YAC on Friday at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
