Exam irregularities alleged

Students' League Manipur has claimed to have detected irregularities in some centres where Board-conducted HSLC 2014 examination are being held.
According to a statement issued by publicity secretary T Reni Devi, League volunteers led by its human resource secretary Moirangthem Loyangamba carried out inspection visits at Johnstone, Ananda Singh, TG, CC, Ibotonsana and Standard Robert higher secondary schools on the third day of the matric examination today.
While some of the exam centres were found to be not up to the mark in terms of adhering to prescribed norms, a girl student appearing the examination in Room No.6 of Ananda Singh higher Secondary School was found possessing a mobile phone, claimed the League and expressed that level of vigilance by the exam invigilators in Johnstone Higher Secondary School was not satisfactory.
The League further suggested that invigilators performed their assigned task with diligence for the betterment of Manipur's future.
