Moreh, October 13 2021:
23 Indian Nationals who had been in Kalay jail in Myanmar were handed over to Indian officials today at Moreh.
The 23 individuals including one woman who were handed over today included people who had been in jail for 13 years.
The handing over programme was attended by Aung Kyaw Soe, officer of Myanmar Tamu Township; Krishna Anand, senior immigration officer; SP Customs and officers Moreh Police Station.
The 23 individuals were tested for COVID-19 by a medical team at ICP Moreh.
