Surjit feted

The All Manipur Press Association (AMPA) today felicitated its president Senjam Surjit who was recently elected as the new vice president (East) of the All India Federation of Master Printers for the year 2021-2022 in a solemn function organised at Manipur Press Club.
The function organised by the executive committee members of AMPA was attended by Akham Joykumar, Chairman BOSEM; Dr L Mangoljao, Secretary BOSEM and Dr L Kumar Singh, chief advisor AMPA as presidium members who also feted Senjam Surjit with simple presents.
Speaking at the occasion, Senjam Surjit expressed gratitude to the AMPA executive committee members for organising such a programme to honour him and for recommending him for the responsibility.
The All India Federation of Master Printers established in 1953 is the biggest federation of its kind in the world having a record 2,50,000 members, said Surjit who also expressed happiness on being elected as the vice president for North East zone.
BOSEM Chairman, Akham Joykumar also maintained that the election of Surjit as the vice president of a zone of the National federation with support from printers' associations in the North East States was a positive development.
He also expressed hope that Surjit will discharge his new duties successfully and effectively.
