"Hill Leaders Day & Meeyamgi Numit" conducted across State

"Hill Leaders Day & Meeyamgi Numit" which is normally held on the 3rd Friday of every month was held across the State today due to the general holiday on August 19, 2022 .
BISHNUPUR
District Administration Bishnupur today organised "Meeyamgi Numit" at Panchayat Resource Centre Hall, Mini Secretariat Complex in Bishnupur.
As many as 96 applications were received from the people today for this monthly citizen engagement initiative to address public grievances.
Deputy Commissioner Bishnupur, Lourembam Bikram interacted with the people for immediate redressal of their grievances in the presence of Superintendent of Police, N Herojit; Divisional Forest Officer, SDO/BDOs and District Level Officers among others.
ADM Bishnupur, H Bobby Sharma, who is also the Coordinator of District Meeyamgi Numit ensured the smooth conduct of the event.
The Chief Medical Office and District Social Welfare Office set up stalls to facilitate issuance and renewal of CMHT cards and provide services under Old Age Pension Schemes (OAPS) respectively.
4 CMHT cards, 2 ABPMJAY and 1 Ration Card were handed over to the applicants.
CHURACHANDPUR
Hill Leaders Day & Meeyamgi Numit was also held at Multi-purpose Hall, Mini-Secretariat Complex, Tuibong.
DC Churachandpur, Sharath Chandra Arroju; SP, Shivanand Surve; DFO, CEO/ADCC, all SDOs/BDOs and Officers from other line departments took part in the event.
During the event, 24 persons were administered vaccination and 16 persons were provided free medical check-up.
A total of 112 queries/complaints were received, out of which, 48 queries were resolved on the spot.
Sharath Chandra Arroju also directed all concerned to expedite the disposal of complaints received and submit action taken report/ status of complaints by August 26, 2022 .
JIRIBAM
District Administration Jiribam also conducted Meeyamgi Numit & Hill Leaders Day at DC Complex, Chingdong Leikai, Jiribam.
It was attended by DC Jiribam, W Malemnganba Chenglei, IAS; DFO, Rajesh Darade, IFS; ADM, Jameson Hangshing, MCS; Additional SP, E L Fimate, MPS along with SDO Jiribam, SDC Borobekra, DLOs and staff of various departments.
Apart from providing other services, around 14 people were administered Covid vaccine today by Jiribam CMO team led by Dr N Soroja Devi, MO, Jiribam.
The Department of Horticulture & Soil Conservation distributed Sprinkler Irrigation sets; CAF & PD distributed LPG cylinders; Social Welfare Department provided 302 Old Age Pension cards and 118 CM Widow Pension Scheme cards.
Later, the DC also administered the Sadbhavana Day Pledge to the department officials.
SENAPATI
District Administration Senapati also organised District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit at Multipurpose Hall, Mini Secretariat, Senapati.
In the programme, 51 grievances were registered relating to Health, PMAYG, Agriculture, Fishery, Handloom & Textile, Education, etc.
DC Senapati, Mahesh Chaudhari, IAS, distributed various items including 4 Knapsack Sprayer, 4 Urea issued by District Agriculture Office; 5 CMHT cards issued by the medical department; and 2 Manipur Yam Pass Book issued by District Handloom & Textile.
Sadbhavana Day pledge was also administered to all the participants.
THOUBAL
District Administration Thoubal also conducted Meeyamgi Numit at the Counting Hall of DC Office Complex.
DC Thoubal, A Subhash Singh, IAS, heard various grievances and demands of the public.
He also distributed 11 CMHT cards to the beneficiaries.
Altogether 98 written applications were also received today.
20 stalls of different departments were opened to meet the demand of the public.
SP Thoubal, Jogeshchandra Haobijam, IPS; CMO Thoubal, SDOs and other DLOs attended the programme.
