LFS students rally against bomb attack

Imphal, June 07 2022:
A large number of students, teachers, and staff of Little Flower School took out a protest rally at Tiddim Road today denouncing the bomb attack at the premises of the school in Manipur on June 5 last.
Leaders of various student organisations and guardians also took part in the protest rally which commenced from the gate of Little Flower School and culminated at Tiddim Ground.
The students displayed a banner with inscription "We condemn bomb attack on our school, Pabung CM and EM protect us" and placards that read "We want peace," "We are the future save us," and "Allow us to grow without fear," among others.
Speaking to the media, Head Mistress of the school Kaini Martha appealed to all to refrain from carrying out such attacks at Little Flower School or any other school in future.
While thanking all the people who turned up to extend solidarity to the school in times of difficulties, the Head Mistress said that the school will resume classes from tomorrow.
Superior Sister of Little Flower School, Maria Dilbung said that the bomb attack at the school premises has shocked and intimidated a large section of people including the parents who send their wards to other educational institutions.
Saying that the primary objection of all in the teaching profession is to impart knowledge and wisdom so as to build a healthier society, she urged all to shun violence.
