Hitch-hiker in Imphal after covering 10,000 kms

Imphal, June 07 2022:
Hitch-hiker Rohan Agrawal from Nagpur, Maharashtra who has been travelling across the country with a message to spread the message of unity in diversity and check plastic pollution reached Imphal, today.
The 20 year old from Nagpur began his journey on August 20, 2020 from Varanasi and since then he has travelled 24 States including Manipur covering about 10,000 Kms.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, Rohan Agarwal said that he will stay in Manipur for about 30 days.
Continuing that his next destination is Mizoram, the young hitch hiker informed that the driving force of his journey is to spread a message of unity in diversity and plastic pollution.
Rohan, however, clarified that he is not completely against plastic use.
"I'm not completely against place use, but we have to use it sensibly.
People normally see only water bottles, carry bags or some other items when talking about plastic but many of the items which we use in our day-to-day life such as clothes, shoes and mobile phones also contain plastic," he added.
Rohan also said that he will travel outside India after covering all the States in the country.
