Moreh communities fete Rohan Agarwal

Rohan Agarwal, who is on a solo walk through the state, was felicitated on reaching Moreh town by Tamil Sangam at its hall on Sunday.
The programme was attended by people of various communities living in the border town including Tamil, Bihari, Marwari, Nepali, Punjabi, etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Rohan Agarwal informed that he started his walk when he was 18-year old on August 25, 2020 from Varanasi and now at the age of 20, he has covered 24 states of the country.
The wayfarer said that during his journey he raised awareness on ill effects of plastic usage.He also referred to scientists predicting that by 2050 human lives will be very much affected by plastic pollution.
There are chances that at that time 50 per cent of young people by the age 20 will have cancer caused due to plastic usage and pollution caused by it, he quoted the scientists as saying and appealed to people to stop using plastic in consideration of future generations.
