UPF launches free health camp

A three-day free health camp jointly organised by United People's Front (UPF) and Manipur State Ayush Society, Directorate of Ayush on the theme 'Health for future' commenced from Wednesday.
A team led by UPF president N Rupa along with five Ayush doctors, nurses and other consultants visited Uran Chiru village in Kangpokpi district and conducted the health camp during which the needy were also provided medicines free of cost.
The camp, which will be conducted in hill areas where there are no proper health care facilities, was flagged off from UPF's Keishamthong office by its advisor Yk Dhiren.
Speaking in this regard, Dhiren highlighted the need of keeping every one healthy so as to make a strong society.
The organisation has been organising marathon annually so as to encourage people, the youth in particular, to stay away from addictive substances and become healthy.
Considering that health of the people is vital for the future of Manipur, UPF is organising free health camp on the theme 'Health for future'.
The health camp will be conducted in remote hill areas and also provide medicines freely, he added.
