Many decry assault

Manipur People's Party (MPP), All Manipur Students Guardians' Organisation (AMGSO), All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) and others have strongly condemned the assault on three scribes and a caretaker of Manipur Press Club at Keishamthong on January 11 at9.30pmand urged the Government to provide assistance to the injured scribes and demanded exemplary punishment against the AMGSO urged police personnel to stop taking advantage of late night and harassing media persons returning home late night after completing their duty.
AMSU demanded befitting punishment against the accused who assaulted the journalists and to take strict security measures for media persons.
Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur (PLMPAM), Khoyathong Bazar, Imphal and All Manipur Women Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA) have also strongly condemned the attack on the three scribes and a caretaker of Manipur Press Club at Keishamthong on January 11 at 9.30 pm and demanded exemplary punishment for the accused.
