Imphal, August 06 2026: Chief Minister Yumnam Khem-chand today chaired a high-level meeting at the CM Secretariat, Babupara and reviewed security deployment at the Civil Secretariat.

Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam, Art & Culture Minister Kh Loken and senior officials of the State Government attended the meeting.

"Ensuring the safety and security of the Civil Secretariat remains our utmost priority.

The meeting finalised key measures for immediate strengthening of security arrangements to safeguard the Secretariat and ensure the smooth functioning of governance", the Chief Minister wrote in a social media post.
