Army chief of UKNA held

Imphal, August 06 2026: Security forces have arrested the self-styled army chief of UKNA (Hmar) from Old Gelmol village in Churachandpur district yesterday.

The arrested individual has been identified as RC Singson.

From his disclosure, one AK-47 rifle along with a magazine, one 9mm pistol with a magazine, three IEDs and two Baofeng radio sets were recovered from the forest of Thingchawm Village, Churachandpur, said police.
