Counting of votes for the two Lok Sabha seats of Manipur would start at 8 am tomorrow.
One ECI appointed observer would monitor the process of counting votes in all 18 halls.
Notably, eight candidates contested in Inner Manipur P/C while 10 were in the fray in Outer Manipur P/C .
All arrangements have been made for counting of votes in 18 counting halls of 12 counting centres, said Chief Electoral Officer O Nabakishore.
The counting process in all the 18 halls would be webcast live.
Moreover, tight security arrangements have been in and around all counting centres so as to avoid any untoward incident.
Votes would be counted in three counting halls in Imphal East, two halls in Bishnupur, three in Thoubal, and one each in Jiribam, Chandel, Ukhrul, Kangpokpi, Senapati, Tamenglong and Churachandpur.
With a view to ensure hassle free counting, District Magistrates and Additional District Magistrates have clamped restrictions under CrPC 144 in the surrounding areas of all counting centres.
