Foundation Day of Kanglei Ima Lup (KIL) celebrated

The 3rd Foundation Day celebration of Kanglei Ima Lup (KIL) was celebrated at Manipur Press Club today.
KIL president RK Sanahal, Kanglamei president Y Leirikleima, PANDM president Yumnamcha Dilipkumar, ACOAM-Lup president Kshetrimayum Somorendro, IPSA president Johnson Elangbam, JSCC Convenor and KSA president Thangjam Premananda attended the function as presidium members.
Yumnam Dilipkumar while speaking at the occasion stressed on the need to integrate the civil society organisations of the State.
Speaking on current issues, Dilipkumar said that both people and Government have probably forgotten the problem of water scarcity just after the State has received some rainfall.
In this regard, Dilipkumar suggested the Government to chalk out a plan to solve the problem of water woes.
Saying that the State has not improved anything in power situation as well, Dilipkumar said that it is the responsibility of the Government to ensure regular power supply likewise regular collection of tax.
RK Sanahanbi said that KIL was formed with an aim to contribute their mite in reducing the rate of human rights violations and oppressions.
The organisation has pledged to guide the society towards development and work effectively as a responsible civil society organisation, she added.
