Miscreants deface NPP symbols

Unknown miscreant(s) reportedly defaced the NPP and its symbol inscribed on the door of its new office located near Singjamei Parking, which is slated for inauguration on October 10.Denouncing such nasty act, intending NPP candidate in Singjamei A/C Oinam Romen said that such incident is the first of its kind in Singjamei A/C and urged all concerned to fight the election in a free and fair manner.
Romen also recalled that an important worker of his was arrested by a team of Singjamei PS and taken to the residence of Singjamei AC MLA and speaker Yumnam Khemchand on September 27.While denouncing such act, NPP women's wing members urged against repeating such uncivilised acts in future.
In a democratic country, public should not be subjected to fear and threat but allowed to choose political party and elect candidate of their own choice.
While questioning whether other political parties fear NPP candidate Oinam Romen, the women's wing demanded clarification for indulging in such unwanted acts.
