Attack carried out by joint team of PLA, MNPR RPF

Imphal, November 13 2021:
A joint team of PLA and MNPF carried out ah armed attack on a convoy of 46 Assam Rifles in Sehken village under Behiang police station in Churachandpur district on Saturday around 10 am killing six AR personnel including the CO Colonel Viplav Tripathi and injuring many others, claimed a statement ol RPF.
The statement signed by deputy publicity secretary of RPF Roben Khuman said, "The army of PLA and MNPF did not know that the wife and son of the CO were in the convoy.
The Indian security forces should never bring along their family members in an area which the Government of India has declared as disturbed area" .
It further informed that the chief of army staff of RPF hailed the army, who carried out the attack, those who planned it and extended support.
