Save Chakpi Save Chandel 2.0 conducted

With a mission to save Chakpi River that flows through Chandel district, Wisecrabs Chandel along with several youth clubs and with the help of various departments conducted Save Chakpi Save Chandel 2.0 campaign in Chandel by collecting garbage from the river on Saturday.
The campaign was flagged off by Chandel deputy commissioner Mayanglambam Rajkumar from Indoor stadium campus, Chandel district headquarters.
The campaign was organised by Wisecrabs Chandel along with Lambung Youth Club, Riverlane Youth Club, Monsang Pantha Youth Club, Mantri Pantha Youth Club, Hnatham Youth Club, Hnahringkhu Youth Club, Chandel Christian Youth Club, Modi Youth Club, Kanankhu Youth Club, St Joseph School Chandel and Koinonia Training School Chandel.
Chandel district administration, District Police, 18 Assam Rifles, Anal Sinnu Ruwl, Naga Women's Union Chandel, several departments including Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Public Health Engineering Department, District Health Society, Divisional Forest Office, Sericulture Department, Agriculture Department, Fishery Department, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Chandel, Nehru Yuva Kendra Chandel and NERCOMP Chandel also extended support in cleaning the river.
A pledge was also taken collectively to keep the river clean as a part of the campaign.
