Workshop on CBCS, LOCF under NEP 2020 concludes

The 5 day workshop programme on how to prepare Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Learning Outcome Curriculum Framework (LOCF) under National Education Policy 2020 held at the conference hall of DM College of Teacher Education Imphal concluded today.
The workshop was jointly organised by the Directorate of University and Higher Education, DM College of Teacher Education and GP Women's College under the sponsorship of State Project Director RUSA.
The closing ceremony was graced by Commissioner, Education (U), M Harekrishna Singh and AK Surodhoni Devi as the presidium members.
Speaking as the chief guest, M Harekrishna said that once the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) has been implemented fully, it will benefit the students to a large extent.
He further maintained that human resources will be developed fully when the teachers will be able to enlighten the students with adequate knowledge.
Speaking about the workshop, convenor of the workshop and Associate Professor, Kh Dineshkumar said that the workshop has helped the teachers to learn about the contents in NEP apart from providing additional knowledge to them.
He further sought the attention of the Education Commissioner to organise workshops to equip the teachers with more knowledge.
Later an interactive session was held among the participating teachers regarding the various systems prevalent in their respective colleges.
Also certificates were presented to
the participants.
