While remarking that the socio-economic conditions of the people of the state have improved significantly under present the BJP-led coalition government, State Planning Board deputy chairman MLA Lourembam Rameshwor has stated that the BJP government will retain power in the state after the upcoming assembly election.
The state Directorate of AYUSH Lamphelpat and State AYUSH Society Ma-nipur, with the support of MLA Rameshwor, jointly organised a free AYUSH-health camp under Public Health Outreach Activity, at the MLA's residence in Kyamgei on Friday.
The MLA also extended monetary assistance to 170 SHGs consisting of around 30 members each in Keirao AC in another function held at his residence, along with conduct of a monthly meeting, aimed towards promotion of SHGs and providing livelihood to the respective family of the members.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Rameshwor pointed out that by launching CMHT, the state government has not only eased the financial burden of low income families during health emergencies.
The CMHT scheme has also now allowed patients to get treated at hospitals outside the state.
The Ayushman Bharat scheme also allows patients to get medical treatment at reputed hospitals across the country, he added.
"The people of the state also believed on the ruling government" and as such, the BJP government will surely come back to power after the election in 2022, he contended.
