Training of EEM teams held in Bishnupur

Bishnupur, December 17 2021:
The District Election Office, Bishnupur on Friday conducted a training programme for Election Expenditure Monitoring (EEM) teams of the district at CI College in connection with the upcoming state assembly election.
Speaking as the resource person of the training, EEM state nodal officer Ng Rajesh Singh explained in length about the roles and responsibilities of the various election expenditure monitoring teams comprising of Flying Squad, Static Surveillance, Video Surveillance, Video Viewing and Accounting teams.
Highlighting that one constituency in the district is included among the six expenditure sensitive constituencies of the state, Rajesh Singh called upon the EEM teams to be extra vigilant in performing their duties.
The state nodal officer further motivated the team members to co-operate with one another and contribute their best for a free and fair conduct of election.
The Election Expenditure teams were also briefed on monitoring mechanisms including compilation of daily activity reports pertaining to Model Code of Conduct complaints and violations.
Later in the training, EEM Bishnupur nodal officer L Ratankumar Singh and assistant nodal officer K Johnson Singh led the evaluation session to summarise key points of the training and to consolidate team formation among the participants.
AC to DC Bishnupur Ejaj Hassan and Bishnupur training nodal officer RK Dayananda Singh also contributed their valuable inputs in the training.
