MPSC stroll as SSU down KLASA in MSL

MPSC strolled to a 5-1 victory over AIM as SSU outplayed KLASA 2-0 in the 14th Manipur State League at Turf Ground, Lamlong.
MPSC fought off a first-half deficit to overpower AIM 5-1 in a Group B match on Friday.
Ksh Milan put AIM in front in the 31st minute and his side kept their 1-0 advantage intact through the first-half contest.
After the restart, MPSC wreaked havoc on the opposition's defence smashing five goals past AIM without reply.
Ajitkumar set the tone for MPSC's barrage with a 52nd-leveler and then Umkanta overturned the score-line in a three-minute span before Khem BK made 3-1 in the 66th minute.
MPSC continued their scoring spree as Dayananda struck in their fourth goal in the 80th minute and Fimate wrapped up their scoring and victory with an 82nd-minute goal.
Earlier on Thursday, SSU scored a double in the first half and never relinquished their 2-0 lead against KLASA FC.
N Sushilkumar opened the scoring in the 20th minute and L Roshan netted the second goal in the 32nd minute as their side held on to secure three points.
In Saturday's fixtures, YPHU lock horns with Muvanlai Athletics and NEROCA FC clash with GSC.
