3-day international seminar begins

Imphal, April 12 2023:
A three-day international seminar on 'Indian Tricolour at Moirang by INA: An Apostle of Courage and Valour of the Indian Independence Movement' was inaugurated by CAU, Imphal Vice Chancellor Prof Anupam Mishra as chief guest at the Court Hall of Manipur University on Wednesday.
The seminar is being jointly organised by Department of Ancient History & Archaeology, Manipur University; IGN Tribal University, Regional Campus, Manipur; Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati; Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana, New Delhi; Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti, Manipur; NG College, Imphal; Thai-Bharat Cultural Lodge, Bangkok; Indian Association of Thailand; Netaji Welfare Foundation, Malaysia & Malaysian Bangalee Association; and United India National Army Families and Activist Association.
Presided over by Manipur University VC N Lokendra, the inaugural function was also attended by Akhil Bhartiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana National Organisation secretary Dr Balmukund Pandey as guest of honour, while INA veteran and Balak Sena Chawun Thakur and Netaji Welfare Foundation, Malaysia chairman Dato Kurnaran Santhivaloo were present as special guests.
On Thursday, a held visit will be taken to the INA Divisional Headquarters at Chamol village in Tengnoupal district near the Indo-Myanmar border.
On April 14, floral tributes will be offered at the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at INA Complex in Moirang.
