Thoubal BOI observes foundation day

Coinciding with the 109th foundation day of Bank of (BOI)India, the Thoubal Branch of BOI today celebrated its first anniversary at the premises of the Bank Branch located near Thoubal Police Station today.
O.Khogendro Singh, Branch Manager, Thoubal Branch of BOI; RK.
Yaiskul Singh, Additional Director (Hr.
Education) and L.Mohini Devi, Head Mistress graced the function as Presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Khogendro said that the Bank of India was first established on 6th September, 1906 .
Now, there are 4545 branches and 50 Zonal Offices all over India.
There are over 50 branches abroad including one at Yangoon, Myanmar.
The Bank of India is the first among the nationalised banks to establish fully computerised branch and also ATM facility at Mahalaxmi branch at Mumbai, he said.
He further said, 'presently the bank has overseas presence in 22 countries'.
In Manipur, there 3 branches at Thoubal, Imphal and Sainik School, he added.
