Symposium, rally held

People carried on ILPS movement by organising symposium and rally at Moreh today.
Pro-ILPS campaign of the day at Moreh kick started with a symposium, which was held at Eastern Shine School Moreh ground in border town Moreh.
The symposium which was organised by Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit Manipur was participated by students of Eastern Shine School Moreh, Netaji Memorial English High School Moreh, St George English Moreh and people from different communities residing in Moreh including other school students.
The symposium was followed by a mass rally taken out by all the participants of the symposium.
The rally was flagged off at Eastern Shine School Ground and went all the way through Moreh Hospital Road, NH 2, Moreh Bazar, Gate No 1, Dal Pati, Prem Nagar, Gate No 2, Nepali Basti, Muslim Nagar, Chavangphai, Turel Wangma.
The mass rally was jointly organised by organisations of different communities of Moreh, Meetei Council Moreh, Hill Tribal Council, All Community Development organisation Moreh, Manipur Muslim Council Moreh, Tamil Sangam Moreh, Border Trade and Chamber of Commerce Moreh, AMSU Chandel District Committee, organisations of the Ima-ibens, Khan Nongpok Apunba Nupi Lup, Nupi Khunai Chaokhat Lamjing Lup, Muslim Women Development Association and Minority Women Development Society.
The placards of the rally read "We Demand ILPS in Manipur", "Implement ILPS in Manipur", Save Manipur from Illegal Migrants", Save Manipur from Illegal Influx", "ILPS is the only means to save Manipur" and "ILPS is the right of every people of Manipur" .
All shops and businesses stayed closed during the rally and the mass rally was participated by around 3000 people reportedly.
