BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav has been scheduled to visit BJP office in Churachandpur District on February 6 in cinnection with the coming ADC elections in Manipur.
Churachandpur district BJP presidentJ Haokip on Saturday during the party meeting said that the national general secretary will discuss the prepara-tions of BJP candidates for ADC elections.
Ram Madhav would meet the party members and workers to discuss their status and condition.
The district president Mr J Haokip visited BJP office in New Delhi recently and held a discussion with Jual Oram, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs.
The two deliberated on the poor condition of roads and lack of developments in the whole district of Churachand-pur for the last many decades.
"There is no development or improvement seen in the district and the state government led by the Congress has really neglected the people living in Churachandpur district", said J Haokip, who submitted a memorandum to the PMO office in New Delhi.
During the meeting, Ram Madhav reportedly agreeed to visit Churachandpur district to boost the morale of BJP members and workers.
Haokip also met the Home Minister and shared the problems faced by the people of Churachandpur district.
He also met Faggan Singh Kulaste, MP (Lok Shaba) and National President of ST Morcha (BJP).
Haokip and Kulaste discussed the problems faced by the tribals of Churachandpur district.
Meanwhile, Manipur State BJP president Th Chaoba Singh has assured he will attend the BJP Workers Conference to be held in Lamka town, Churachandpur on February 14 .
BJP leaders and members will be attending the conference.
Haokip informed that the intending ADC candidates of BJP will be declared during the conference.
