2 new cases reported with 6.3 pc TPR

Imphal, October 23 2022:
The daily test positivity report of Covid-19 in the state spiked to 6.3 per cent on Sunday as government bulletins reported two new positive cases from out of 32 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The two fresh cases are female residents of Imphal East and Imphal West districts.
Sunday also reported five recoveries following which the number of active cases came down to 26, out of which 12 are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,867 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 760 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,47,012, out of which 13,32,444 had received the second dose and 2,72,823 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49833), Imphal East (32051), Thoubal (10296), Churachandpur (11290), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9983), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3368), Kakching (6979), Chandel (2796), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
