Three new cases take active tally to 17

Imphal, November 04 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state rose to 17 on Friday with government bulletins reporting one recovery and three new positive cases from out of 142 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 2.1 per cent.
The three fresh cases (2 males & 1 female) reported on Friday are residents of Bishnupur, Imphal East and Thoubal districts.
Out of the 17 active cases, 11 are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,889 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 323 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,47,567, out of which 13,34,168 had received the second dose and 2,74,514 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49837), Imphal East (32061), Thoubal (10297), Churachandpur (11291), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9985), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3370), Kakching (6980), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
