State logs three fresh cases

Imphal, September 19 2022:
The state on Monday reported three new cases of Covid-19 from two districts out of 274 samples tested in the last 24 hours, thus, recording a positivity rate of 1.1 per cent.
The three fresh cases (2 males & 1 female) are residents of Thoubal (2) and Kakching (1) districts.
Monday also reported one recovery and the number of active cases rose to 32 out of which 18 are in home isolation.
There are 36 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 62 in RIMS.
No death case was reported on Monday and the death toll stands at 2148 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,790 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 50 D-type and 20 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities and 335 vaccine doses administered which took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 16,39,896, out of which 13,18,553 had received the second dose and 2,58,612 taken the precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49809), Imphal East (32033), Thoubal (10293), Churachandpur (11284), Kangpokpi (3184), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9977), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3365), Kakching (6974), Chandel (2794), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1210), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1053), and Pherzawl (477) .
