Churachandpur, September 19 2022:
As part of the ongoing observance of Seva Pakhwada (service fortnight), a free medical and health check-up camp was held at B Vengnom Committee Hall on Monday.
The Seva Pakhwada event is being organised by the BJP Churachandpur.
BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi attended the day's event as chief guest while MLA Letzamang Haokip was the special guest.
In her address, Sharda said that various programmes are being organised as part of celebrating the 72nd birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at different places in India, during which a number of public-oriented services are carried out.
On PM Modi's birthday on September 17, BJP members and workers donated 2000 units of blood for the needy people.
As there are many people who are willing to donate blood, another camp will be held after October 2, 2022, she informed.
In Monday's medical health camp about 182 people turned up for health check-ups and the party is planning to further carry out various health promotional activities.
Similar programme was organised in different places of the town and sub-divisional headquarters of Churachandpur district.
