Imphal, May 14 2014 :
Turning the table in the ongoing campaign by some tribal organisations for removal of Minister Nasir for his alleged misconduct on ZEO Thoubal, All Manipur Muslim Students' Organisation (AMMSO) Wednesday warned of agitation in the face of State Government's failure to remove ZEO, Thoubal from office for his alleged misdeed.
AMMSO blamed David Zamzathang, ZEO, Thoubal for his attempt to construct a Primary School under SSA at Oinam Sawombung though the actual place of allocation of the school is Laiphrakpam Laishram Mamang Leikai.
The student body demanded the State Government to remove him from post.
Talking to reporters at the AMMSO office, president of the student body Md Farid Khan accused ZEO, Thoubal of fomenting tension among the communities by trying to wrongly allocate the Primary School.
David Zamzathang intends to disrupt the unity and harmony of the State, Khan charged, and maintained that AMMSO does not work against any ethnic groups of the State.
It is unfortunate to find out that Zamzathang has been working on ethnic line while allocating the Primary School in wrong place, he further accused.
Khan warned that if Manipur Government fails to remove Zamzathang from his office soon, AMMSO would launch intense agitation in collaboration with many civil society organisations.
